Sophia Williams is a qualified personal trainer specialising in pre & postnatal fitness based in Cheshire

From a young age, I have been passionate about the joy of movement whether it is through sports, dance or the general challenges of everyday life. After graduating from The Hammond School of Dance, I began a career as a professional dancer and enjoyed a 10 year stint in London before getting married and starting a family with my wonderful husband. We were blessed with the arrival of our healthy twin girls and made the decision to move from London to the North West to start this new exciting chapter in our lives.

In the first year of becoming a new mother I qualified as personal trainer choosing to expand my knowledge with additional qualifications in pre & postnatal fitness. After experiencing my own challenges with fitness through pregnancy and the trials of a c-section recovery, I also dealt with negative body image issues postpartum.

I knew that I would have to work with my body and my mind in a NEW way to find a balance of fitness and wellbeing on this journey through motherhood. I believe in going back to basics to build a strong foundation, on which you will see benefits not just in the gym, but improvements in your day-to-day life with increased energy levels and a positive body image.
